Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations in long-term care settings, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and staff supervision. This on-site leadership role emphasizes medication safety, regulatory compliance, and team development to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or B.Pharm, 2+ years as a licensed pharmacist, 1+ year supervisory experience, and a license in OK or AR.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in OK or AR depending on location.
• 2+ years of licensed pharmacist experience.
• 1+ year of supervision/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate dispensing.
• Supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff to maintain a productive team.
• Oversee medication verification, prescription processing, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and facilities to support patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including controlled substances.
• Manage inventory, workflow, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and overall performance.

Pay:

$125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

Note

An active pharmacist license in Oklahoma or Arkansas is required for the respective location. We're looking for candidates with 2+ years of licensed pharmacist experience and some pharmacy leadership or supervisory experience. Long-term care pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required.
