Guardian Pharmacy of the Piedmont in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will prepare medications accurately, supervise technicians, and support medication management for seniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD with an active state license.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy software experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to patients, including filling, order entry and packaging.
• Review completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions are filled correctly.
• Verify legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and drug interactions.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment, prioritizing patient safety and legal compliance.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and guidelines for compounding.
• Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed and answer questions from patients and clinicians.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders when below par; communicate stock status to facilities.
