Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well-being within our inpatient rehabilitation framework. The role includes guiding clinical services, shaping medication management in rehabilitative care, and making independent clinical decisions within a collaborative team.

You will contribute to policy development, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and ensure accurate dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
