Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well-being within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role involves shaping clinical services, integrating medication management into rehabilitative care, and contributing to policy development as part of a collaborative care team. License and supervisory experience are valued as you help drive outcomes and uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from a U.S.-accredited program or international program evaluated as equivalent.
• Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board where the hospital is located.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to policy and procedure development for pharmacy practices in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medications in line with legal and professional standards.
