Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Pharmacist/IT Systems Analyst for a full-time, 100% remote role in the United States. The position blends clinical pharmacy expertise with health IT system analysis, focusing on Epic Willow Inpatient workflows and integrated clinical applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, managing installed applications, and delivering solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or equivalent in Pharmacy.
  • PharmD and Epic Willow Inpatient certification through an accredited organization.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical or administrative information systems experience in health care.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communication to effectively interact with users on various software and non-technical problems.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, e-mail and scheduling applications.

Responsibilities

  • Meets with their business areas on a regular basis to establish priorities necessary to meet departmental business objectives.
  • Ascertains timelines and resources as needed and develops and coordinates project management methodology.
  • Coordinates with the department and schedules as it relates to system upgrades or application requests.
  • Makes recommendations for integration into operational flow.
  • Implements outcomes from designated systems work teams as needed.
  • Coordinates and initiates system design, testing and system implementation.
  • Provides activation support to users during system building, design and implementations.
  • Resolves problems using knowledge of software applications.
  • Effectively communicates current project status in writing and verbally to all areas and support staff.
  • Organizes, coordinates and implements all aspects of application design and development.
  • Ensures open communications within and outside the department.
  • Attends regular staff meetings and informs the department about progress and issues.
  • Offers truthful and constructive feedback and supports team goals.

Summary

Assumes responsibility for analyzing business needs, defining requirements, developing solutions, implementing systems, managing and supporting installed applications of assigned clinical or administrative areas of responsibility.

Role Responsibilities
Coordination with Departments
  • Meets with their business areas on a regular basis to establish priorities necessary to meet departmental business objectives.
  • Ascertains timelines and resources as needed and develops and coordinates project management methodology.

Managing and Supporting Installed Applications
  • Implements outcomes from designated systems work teams as needed.
  • Coordinates and initiates system design, testing and system implementation.
  • Provides activation support to users as needed during system building, design and implementations.
  • Resolves problems using knowledge of software applications
Communication and Organization
  • Effectively communicates current project status in writing and verbally to all areas, analysts support staff and other members of the systems team.
  • Communicates on a regular basis through documented updates to departments.
  • Organizes, coordinates and implements all aspects of application design and development.
  • Ensures excellent open communications, written and verbal, within and outside the department.
  • Attends regular staff meetings and keeps the department informed on a timely basis about the progress of projects and hardware, software, technical, and/or system issues.
  • Offers honest and constructive feedback and supports team goals and encourages other team members.
Project Management
  • Coordinates project related assignments within assigned IT &S area.
  • Assesses and coordinates project timelines, deadlines, project related tasks and work assignments.
  • Communicates to members of the systems team current status.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.), or equivalent in Pharmacy
  • PharmD and Epic Willow Inpatient certification through an accredited organization.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed Pharmacist
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical or administrative information systems experience; to include experience in Health Care information systems in a health care environment.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communication to effectively interact with users on various software and non-technical problems.
  • Skilled in written communication to compose materials for end-users.
  • Experienced in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, e-mail and scheduling applications. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
