Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Pharmacy Intern PRN to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and hospital managers. You will fill medication orders, prepare compounds, stock supplies, and document workflows.

This role supports patient care and adheres to State Board of Pharmacy rules. Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy and intern registration within 3 months of hire are required; hospital experience is a plus, and strong typing

Qualifications

• Typing, computer applications, compounding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a pharmacist, fills medication orders, prepares routine compounds and solutions (sterile and non‑sterile), prepackages medications, stocks and maintains levels of supplies in assigned work area, prepares and files documents and other records, operates computer and answers telephone/window as needed.
• Performs duties of a pharmacist in accordance with rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• The amount and degree of autonomy progresses with each year of education.
