Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently attending an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Disburse medications and provide counseling under supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Counsel providers regarding drug interactions, indications, and dosing.
• Coordinate for final verification of prescriptions with the Pharmacist.
• Evaluate drug therapy and substitutions under supervision.
• Assist with medication therapy management and patient education.
• Comply with policies for receiving, filling, logging, and loss prevention.
• Follow environmental, safety, and infection control standards.
