Boulder Community Health in Boulder, CO is seeking a Pharmacist Intern to work under licensed pharmacists in hospital and outpatient settings, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to comprehensive medication management.

You will prepare IVs, help with dispensing, educate patients, review medication histories, and collaborate with the pharmacy team. Per diem shifts include an evening/weekend differential of $2 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education or formal training required.
• Enrolled in College of Pharmacy.
• Intern license in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and window.
• Prepares IVs using aseptic technique.
• Orders supplies as needed.
• Fills out-patient prescriptions.
• Provides patient education under the direct supervision of pharmacist.
• Collects patient medication history.
• Transfers prescriptions between pharmacies.
• Fills automated dispensing machines.
• Fills other drug orders.
• Delivers medications to areas.
