UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications for both inpatients and outpatients. The role requires NYS Pharmacist licensure and emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and patient safety.

Experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred, and computer knowledge is also valued to support efficient medication management and patient care within CVPH, Plattsburgh, NY. This is a full-time on-site position with shift variations.

Competenze

• BS Pharmacy and NYS Registered Pharmacist license required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Training/competency for age-appropriate care as applicable.

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply within seven (7) days of the posting date. After this period, all applicants will be considered equally.

Primary Shift 1300-2130

Secondary Shifts 1430-2300, 0700-1530

GENERAL SUMMARY

Each staff pharmacist is responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both Inpatients and Outpatients of CVPH.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Skills Required

• 1.BS Pharmacy & Registered Pharmacist (NYS) required.
• 2.Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
• 3.Computer knowledge preferred.

As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
