CVPH is seeking a staff pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications for both inpatients and outpatients. Primary duties include accurate dispensing, medication preparation, and ensuring pharmaceutical supplies meet patient needs in a high-volume hospital setting.

Education requirements include a BS in Pharmacy and active NYS registration. Hospital pharmacy experience and computer knowledge are preferred to support efficient medication management and patient safety.

Competenze

• Pharmacist license valid in New York (NYS).
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge preferred.

Mansioni

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply withinseven (7) days of the posting date. After this period, all applicants will be considered equally.

Primary Shift 1300-2130

Secondary Shifts 1430-2300, 0700-1530

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Each staff pharmacist is responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both Inpatients and Outpatients of CVPH.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills Required:

• 1.BS Pharmacy & Registered Pharmacist (NYS) required.
• 2.Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
• 3.Computer knowledge preferred.

As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
