The Staff Pharmacist will prepare and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient populations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining high patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications per prescriptions and regulations.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Monitor medication use and manage inventory.

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) required.
• Active Registered Pharmacist (NYS) license or eligibility required.

Experience:

• 2+ years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Residency training and Epic software experience preferred.
• Retail pharmacy experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Primary Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Secondary Shifts: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Must-Have Requirements:
