Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a pharmacist leader to oversee medication orders, ensure safety, and drive system initiatives across multiple hospital settings.

The role requires a VA pharmacist license and at least three years of pharmacist experience, with PharmD preferred for ambulatory/outpatient settings. BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and PIC duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist License required.

• Ambulatory or Outpatient Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resource for the staff on operational issues related to pharmacy practice.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
• May be responsible for pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) duties when applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Required license must be valid in the state of practice.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $159,203.20 - $225,992.00 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
