Job summary

Brown University Health in Fall River, MA seeks a Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee pharmacy operations at the assigned Brown University Health Pharmacy site. You will be responsible for compliance with state and federal laws, DoH regulations, and quality standards, while guiding clinical and support staff.

Responsible for budgeting labor, payroll, inventory, and script counts, and for coaching staff including interns and residents.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Rhode Island (unrestricted) and ability to obtain full licensure; 90-day temporary license acceptable prior to start.
• Three years of progressively responsible related experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy technology, systems, automation, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site complies with federal/state laws, RI Board of Pharmacy rules, and DoH requirements.
• Oversee dispensing, compounding, order review, and clinical pharmacy services at the licensed location.
• Supervise and schedule clinical pharmacists, technicians, and interns; manage budgeted labor and expenses.
