Responsibilities

• Pursuant to Pharmacist-in-Charge and Registrant designations at the assigned Brown University Health Pharmacy licensed site, ensure compliance with federal and state law, RI Board of Pharmacy rules, and related regulations.
• Oversee dispensing, compounding, order review, collaborative practice, and clinical services at the licensed location.
• Ensure appropriate scheduling of clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student interns.
• Monitor budget adherence for labor, payroll, sales, script count, inventory levels and expenses.
• Conduct biennial controlled substance inventories and maintain required records for receiving, dispensing, transferring, and reverse distribution of control substances.
• Coach, mentor, and precept interns and residents; lead staff through performance appraisals and ongoing professional development.
