Job summary

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in the state of Washington, active and in good standing.
40 hours per week availability; on-call requirement.
Preferred: 1 year management experience as Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager.

Responsibilities

Supervise the dispensing pharmacy.
Monitor regulatory and compliance developments (Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA).
Educate staff on regulatory changes, recalls, drug information, samples, and investigational studies.
Implement quality assurance programs for pharmacy services and improve patient care.
Implement policies and procedures for procurement, storage, security, and disposition of drugs and devices.
Maintain records of pharmacist licensure and technician registrations.
Respond to Board of Pharmacy warning notices and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and accreditation rules.
Serve as a primary information source for internal and external questions.
Lead the team and drive continuous improvement, quality, and service.
Report directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Washington, active and in good standing
