This role leads daily operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and patient safety without traditional walk-in customers. The ideal candidate has at least one year of PIC experience, a PharmD from an accredited college, and a strong grasp of regulatory requirements, staffing supervision, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
• Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, verification, and dispensing.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure appropriate training, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Monitor workflow efficiency, prescription accuracy, and quality performance.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure proper handling of patient information and confidential records.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and internal teams to support operational goals.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews and respond to inquiries from pharmacy boards and other agencies.
• Support staff development and training initiatives.
