Job summary

Brown University Health Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee all operational, professional, and clinical activities at the Brown University Health Pharmacy site in Rhode Island.

This role serves as Registrant and is accountable to the RI DoH and the DEA for the full scope of responsibilities, including staff supervision, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and compliance with USP 795/800 and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Rhode Island pharmacist or active 90-day temporary license.
• Three years of progressively responsible related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacare operations at the assigned Brown University Health Pharmacy site.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, DoH rules, and DEA.
• Precepts interns and residents and coaches staff.
• Manage budget for labor, payroll, and inventory and drive quality initiatives.
