Job summary

Avita Care Solutions seeks a Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead a new Portland pharmacy. The PIC will oversee daily operations, ensure quality pharmaceutical care, and drive growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include physician liaison, Rx workflow, and DUR reviews. Requirements include a PharmD or equivalent, Oregon license, 2+ years retail/clinic experience, and potential 340B experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Oregon.
• 340B experience preferred.
• AAHIVP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services.
• Drives business growth and controls expenses for the pharmacy.
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Dispenses, orders, and maintains inventory of drugs and supplies.
• Collaborates with physicians on potential prescription issues.
• Directs pharmacy activities and improves workflow efficiency.
• Keeps up-to-date with changing laws and programs.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality.
