Job summary

DeliverIt Group is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead retail pharmacy operations in the Webster/Clear Lake area. Serve as the designated PIC, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, supervising staff, and maintaining records.

We value leadership, patient care, and a commitment to quality. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and sponsorship options for qualified candidates residing in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Immunization certification and ability to administer vaccines.
• Willingness to learn and perform USP 795 non-sterile compounding.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with MTM, immunizations, and third-party adjudication.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge per Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws/regulations.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and staff coordination.
• Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, technicians, and staff.
• Maintain required pharmacy records and operational standards.
• Oversee controlled substance inventory, reconciliation, and security procedures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Ensure HIPAA and patient privacy compliance.
• Lead quality assurance and medication error prevention initiatives.
• Coordinate inspections and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor prescription volume, staffing needs, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee compounding activities per regulations and company policies.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge in accordance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and staff coordination
• Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support team members
• Maintain all required pharmacy records, documentation, and operational standards
• Oversee controlled substance inventory, reconciliation, and security procedures
• Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
• Lead quality assurance efforts and medication error prevention initiatives
• Coordinate inspections and respond to regulatory inquiries
• Monitor prescription volume, staffing needs, and operational efficiency
• Oversee and ensure compliance of compounding activities in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies
• Perform and oversee collection procedures, documentation, and chain-of-custody requirements for drug testing services

What We’re Looking For

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license
• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification and ability to administer vaccines
• Willingness to learn and perform USP 795 non-sterile compounding
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with MTM, immunizations, and third-party adjudication
• Strong patient care and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager experience
• Experience with PioneerRx and MatchRx software
