Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. in Richmond, IN is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team. You’ll work at the top of your license, lead the pharmacy team, and drive efficient, compliant operations to elevate patient care.

You’ll provide personalized patient care and counseling, build relationships with local physicians, oversee pharmacy operations, stay current with regulations, and contribute to innovation in medication management within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise with empathy and confidentiality
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing
• Own pharmacy operations and lead continual improvement to empower the team
• Stay informed of regulations and best practices in retail pharmacy
• Engage in clinical oversight and contribute to innovation in medication management

Pharmacy Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
• We are located at 520 S. 9th St, Ste A Richmond, IN 47374.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
