Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist‑In‑Charge in Houma, LA, to lead the Specialty Pharmacy team and uphold high standards of patient care. You will oversee pharmacy operations with autonomy and drive continuous improvement in dispensing and service quality.

Requirements include a Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree, Louisiana license, and at least 2 years of practice experience. Competitive benefits and a comprehensive package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Louisiana state pharmacy board examination completed.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Louisiana.
• Up-to-date continuing education requirements.
• Two (2) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, HIV and more.
• Participate in Omnicell’s committee work and contribute to innovation in medication management.

• This pharmacy serves the local community: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications:

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Louisiana state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Louisiana
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
• Two (2) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes

Drug Screen: Required

Base Compensation: $140,000.00 to $150,000.00
