Avita Care Solutions is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for a full-time, clinic-based role at TAN Healthcare Center in Beaumont, TX (1459 N. 7th Street).

The position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday schedule, with pharmacy hours as described. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, dispense medications, collaborate with physicians, mentor staff, and uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist-in-Charge degree required (PharmD or B.Pharm).
• TX pharmacist license in good standing required.
• 2+ years of retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred.
• 340B program experience preferred.

Job description

The Pharmacist-in-Charge manages the pharmacy staff, appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, and serves patients with the best possible pharmaceutical care.

This is a full-time, clinic-based opportunity located at the Triangle Area Network (TAN) Healthcare Center in Beaumont, TX (1459 N. 7th Street).

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a consistent Monday - Friday work schedule.

About the Role:

• Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, always maintaining the highest quality of pharmaceutical services
• Foster business growth and control expenses for the pharmacy
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
• Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
• Direct and perform pharmacy activities and manage workflow efficiency
• Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
• Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate to provide quality patient care and efficient operations
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
• Uphold a clean, customer-friendly workplace, and always project a positive attitude
• Maintain a high level of professionalism consistent with company standards, including dress, personal appearance, and grooming
• *Pharmacy hours: Mon: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Tues, Wed & Thurs: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

About You:

• Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university
• 2+ years of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred
• Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience preferred
• Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Texas
• 340B experience preferred
• AAHIVP certification preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
• Proactive self-starter with high degree of initiative and strong follow-up skills
• Able to efficiently mentor, motivate, and manage pharmacy staff while fostering positive customer relations
• Available to work full-time Monday through Friday during pharmacy hours of operations

Pay range: $125,000- $157,000, based on credentials and geographic location.
