Job summary

Walgreens in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver expert, patient-centered care in our busy retail pharmacy. You will provide medication counseling, immunizations, and medication therapy management to diverse patients.

Work with a collaborative team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, while expanding access to care through immunization services and clinical consultations. Qualified candidates will have a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, active licensure, and immunizer certification,

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Experience in retail pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
