Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage of medicines, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, assists in establishing efficient pharmacy workflows and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and processes to support customers and staff.
• Handles insurance claims and coordinates with providers to resolve issues.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
