Job summary

FenixHire is seeking a Pharmacist (PharmD/RPh) for a community pharmacy in the Houston area. The role focuses on medication safety, patient relationships, and a professional work environment.

The Pharmacist will review and dispense medications, counsel patients, administer immunizations, and mentor pharmacy technicians, while ensuring compliance with all regulations. New graduates are encouraged to apply and a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• PharmD or B.Pharm degree required.
• Active, unrestricted license in the applicable state.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
• Retail pharmacy experience welcomed but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Screen prescriptions for interactions, contraindications, and concerns.
• Administer immunizations and support clinical services.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and dispensing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Support daily operations and uphold patient care standards.
