Job summary

FenixHire is seeking a Pharmacist to join a community pharmacy serving an established patient base in Miami. The role emphasizes medication safety, patient relationships, and a professional work environment with support from experienced technicians and modern dispensing systems.

The pharmacist will review and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, screen for interactions, administer immunizations, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety awareness.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Retail pharmacy experience welcome but not required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Screen prescriptions for possible interactions, contraindications, and other medication-related concerns.
• Administer immunizations and support pharmacy-based clinical services.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and dispensing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain high standards of patient care.
