Job summary

COOPER PEDIATRICS located in New Jersey seeks a pharmacist to review medication orders for safety and accuracy before dispensing to patients. This role supports pediatric care by maintaining drug information systems and clinical programs.

The candidate should hold a PharmD, possess a NJ license or be eligible within 6 months, and have a PGY-2 with BCPS. The position features a 2nd shift and a 7 on/7 off schedule, with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
• New Jersey Pharmacy license or eligibility within 6 months.
• PGY-2 residency required.
• Board Certification Pharmaceutical Specialty (BCPS) is required.

Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders. Maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs.

Experience Required

• 3-5 year's experience preferred.
