Qualifications

• Outpatient ambulatory care experience.
• Ability to counsel patients on medications.

Responsibilities

• Chart and order review: Screen patient medical charts and cross-reference new medication orders with lab results, vital signs, and recorded allergies.
• Dispense and verify prescriptions for correct drug, dosage, and form.
• Counsel patients on proper medication therapy, administration, and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize drug therapies.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and conduct controlled substance audits.
