Job summary

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services in partnership with Indian Health Service is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist to support the Tsaile Health Center in Tsaile, Arizona. The role focuses on medication safety, patient education, and collaborative outpatient care within a Tribal healthcare setting.

The position offers a 40-hour weekday schedule, Monday–Friday, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Credentialing and federal clearance may take up to 90 days, and contract length is up to 1 year with

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in the U.S. with active, unrestricted license.
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately per regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and interactions.
• Counsel patients on usage, side effects, and dosing.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize care.
• Monitor therapies and provide clinical recommendations.
• Document care activities in the EHR.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and safety standards.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
