Job summary

Qualifications

  • Pharm D or BS Pharm with residency preferred, hospital pharmacy residency a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Have working knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
  • Provide clinical support of hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain adequate drug supplies at the hospital pharmacy at all times.
  • Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
  • Current State licensure required.
  • BLS if required by State.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
