Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities in Davenport, IA is seeking a Pharmacist to provide clinical support in the hospital pharmacy, ensure drug availability, and educate patients at discharge in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with drug distribution systems and IV admixture, maintain stock, and participate in training and quality improvement efforts to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of educational requirements for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsabilités

• Have working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
