Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, located inside CAMC Memorial, seeks a Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in a full-time role. You will oversee drug distribution, central operations, and IV admixture while providing clinical support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
  • Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
  • Inform and instruct patients on medications to be used after discharge.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $48.00 - $66.00 per hour, based on experience

  • As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.

  • Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
  • Current State licensure required.
  • BLS if required by State.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
