Qualifications

• Active Board of Pharmacy license in Michigan.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Strong math skills (calculate discounts, proportions, percentages).
• Basic algebra and geometry skills (calculate circumferences, volume).
• APhA Immunization Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescriptions and counsel patients, supervising pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Counsel patients over the phone and in person regarding medications and interactions.
• Interpret physicians' prescriptions and enter data into the computer system.
• Administer immunizations under defined protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock to ensure service levels.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and compliance with regulations.
• Perform daily operational duties under the direction of the pharmacy manager.
• Follow department policies and procedures for pharmacy operations.
