Job summary

MVHC, a growing health center network in Ohio, seeks a Pharmacist Float to oversee daily retail pharmacy operations and provide clinical services in clinic settings. The role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining 340B program knowledge to support patient care and a positive patient experience.

The Pharmacist will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, administer vaccines and long-acting injectables, and participate in MTM and wellness services within collaborative

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Pharmacist preferred; residency will fulfill this requirement.
• Current Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental communications by holding meetings and responding to questions.
• Manage pharmacy-related financials and collaborate for growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain high performance and share resources.
• Provide leadership for high quality customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee medication inventory and ordering; optimize processes with Pharmacy Director.
• Process and dispense prescriptions, ensuring safe practices and error avoidance.
• Counsel patients regarding prescribed medications.
