Job Overview
Join our team as a Pharmacist at Cub, focusing on delivering exceptional care and building lasting relationships in the Twin Cities. This role requires travel to multiple pharmacy locations in Woodbury, Lakeville, and Maple Grove. You will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, manage pharmacy operations, ensure accurate prescription dispensing, and supervise pharmacy staff in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, physician orders, and company policies.
- Counts, pours, or measures out the required quantity according to established company methods.
- Offers advice and professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Actively endorses and participates in all clinical program offerings.
- Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors requiring pharmacist expertise.
- Communicates and cooperates professionally with peers, subordinates, managers, physicians, and customers.
- Maintains state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
- Accesses the pharmacy computer to obtain complete patient record, verifies third‑party plan parameters.
- Complies with standard operating procedures for handling and dispensing hazardous drugs.
Job Requirements
- Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD) and hold a valid state license.
- Maintain status as a Certified Immunizer.
- Complete continuing education hours required by state, federal, and company training programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
- Visual requirements: clarity of vision at more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with color vision, depth perception, and field of vision.
- Must be able to stand for long periods; stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required.
- Position may require periodic travel throughout assigned area by car.
- Good judgment is required; direct supervision may not always be available immediately.
