Job summary

Community Health Centers, Inc. seeks a licensed Pharmacist to manage full pharmacy practice across multiple Orange and Lake County locations. The role includes interpreting orders, dispensing medications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards under the Director of Pharmacy.

The position is a full-time float with mileage reimbursement, requiring flexibility to work at various CHC sites and possibly supervise staff on duty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Minimum of two years' experience in pharmacy preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current and valid Florida Pharmacist license required; immunizations certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescription orders, package, label, dispense and distribute drugs and devices.
• Administer and manage medications per applicable statutes and accreditation standards.
• Serve as Pharmacy Manager when on duty or assigned, per Florida DPR Statute 465.018 and related requirements.
• Work across CHC locations in Orange and Lake Counties; travel as needed with mileage/tolls reimbursement.

Job Summary

This position is a full‑time float that travels to all Orange and Lake County locations. There will be mileage and tolls reimbursement.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, responsible for the full practice of pharmacy in accordance with applicable regulatory statues and accreditation standards; interpreting prescription orders, packaging, labeling, dispensing, administering and distribution of drugs and devices; accepts full responsibility as Pharmacy Manager while on duty or as assigned as defined in Florida DPR Statute #465.018, and other requirements as defined in Statutes 465, 21s, 893, plus applicable DEA, AAAHC and 340b requirements.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.

Experience

• Minimum of two years' experience in pharmacy preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• Current and valid Florida Pharmacist license required.
• Certification in immunizations preferred.

Special Skills

• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of personality types in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Internet, Pharmacy related software, EHR and online resources).
• Ability to problem solve and work with minimal guidance.
• Some knowledge of accreditation standards (AAAHC, NCQA) preferred.

Other Requirements

• Able to work flexible hours as assigned.
• Able to work at all CHC locations as assigned.
