Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and medication management in a fast-paced retail setting. You will partner with patients to optimize therapy, manage safety, and ensure regulatory compliance with a collaborative team.

You will educate patients on proper usage, side effects, and cost-effective alternatives while mentoring staff and contributing to a culture of exceptional patient care across our community stores.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
