Job description

Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center

Join to apply for the Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center role at CareBridge.

This position offers a salary range from $109,060 to $206,640 per year, based on skills and experience. The role is remote, ideally within 50 miles of a pulse point location, with varying schedules typical of call center positions.

The Pharmacist Consultant supports disease management programs and physician care plans through drug therapy evaluation and consultation for program participants. Responsibilities include:

  1. Evaluating member Rx needs and therapies via medication history review.
  2. Assessing member compliance through direct contact with members and physicians.
  3. Identifying barriers to compliance and proposing solutions.
  4. Ensuring members understand proper medication use.
  5. Reviewing medications with physicians and counseling on alternatives when therapies do not meet standards.
  6. Serving as a resource to the clinical team in disease management and other clinical areas.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Pharmacy and at least 2 years of clinical experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Current, valid RPh license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PharmD degree preferred.
  • Experience in patient counseling or education preferred.
  • Experience with specialty/infusion medications desired.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
