Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center

Job Details

Position: Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center

Location: Remote, within 50 miles of pulse point locations; alternate locations considered.

Salary Range: $109,060 - $206,640 per year

Hours: Call center position with varying schedules and scheduled breaks.

Company: CarelonRx (formerly IngenioRx), part of Elevance Health, focusing on member-centered pharmacy care using advanced technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate member medication needs and history to assess appropriateness.
  2. Assess member compliance through direct contact with members and physicians.
  3. Identify barriers to medication adherence and develop solutions.
  4. Ensure members understand their prescriptions.
  5. Review and counsel physicians on medication therapies not meeting standards.
  6. Support disease management programs and serve as a clinical resource.
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS in Pharmacy with at least 2 years of clinical experience or equivalent.
  • Valid, unrestricted RPh license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PharmD degree preferred.
  • Experience in patient counseling, especially with specialty medications.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Availability for response during non-standard hours.
