Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center

Join us to apply for the Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx - Call Center role at Elevance Health.

This salary range is provided by Elevance Health. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience — discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$109,060.00/yr - $206,640.00/yr

Location

Alternate locations may be considered. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of a pulse point location and will work remotely.

Hours

This is a call center position, with scheduled breaks and varying schedules available.

CarelonRx (formerly IngenioRx) leverages new technologies and a clinical-first approach to deliver member-centered pharmacy care.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate member prescriptions and medication history to determine appropriateness.
  2. Assess member compliance through direct contact with members and physicians.
  3. Identify and address barriers to medication adherence.
  4. Ensure members understand proper medication use.
  5. Review therapies with physicians and counsel on alternatives when standards are not met.
  6. Support disease management and clinical teams.
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS in Pharmacy and at least 2 years of clinical experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Valid active RPh license.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • PharmD degree preferred.
  • Experience in patient counseling or education.
  • Experience with specialty/infusion medications.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Availability for response during non-standard hours.
Additional Details

Locations include Colorado, DC, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington State. Salary is commensurate with experience and location.
