Job summary
Meijer in Danville, IL is seeking a Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care, medicine dispensing, immunizations, and staff mentorship in a community setting.
You will ensure safe prescription handling, maintain strong patient relationships, and support pharmacy operations with compliance to policies and laws. A pharmacist license in Illinois is required, with potential for growth and competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Retail/Community Practice.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and understanding of state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
- Mentor and guide pharmacy technicians.
- Educate and mentor technicians to be effective team members.
- Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
- Communicate effectively and support patient care.
