Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking an onsite Clinical Pharmacist in Aurora, CO to ensure accurate dispensing and administration of medications. You will provide drug information to patients and caregivers and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and state licensure as a Pharmacist, with potential life support certifications. This is a full-time, days shift position with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
  • Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
  • Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
  • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $57.50 - $80.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements
