Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Pharmacists to work on-site in Indiana with relocation assistance available. You will dispense prescriptions, ensure compliance with laws, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a PharmD, an active license in the state, and strong knowledge of medication safety. Immunization services and a generous benefits package may be available, with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, and medication safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage requirements.
• Assess prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient medication therapy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and control of medications.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Administer immunizations and provide clinical pharmacy services as authorized by law.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete required continuing education to maintain licensure.
