Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Pharmacists on-site in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. Relocation assistance available. The Pharmacist dispenses medications, counsels patients, and collaborates with healthcare providers to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, and medication safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage requirements.
• Assess prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient medication therapy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and control of medications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Administer immunizations and provide clinical pharmacy services as authorized.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.
• Complete required continuing education to maintain licensure
