SpecialtyRx in Roanoke, VA seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our new long-term care pharmacy location. Relocation candidates welcome; this role offers a 7-on/7-off schedule with 10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed.

You will evaluate medication orders, ensure accurate dispensing and labeling, collaborate with physicians and facility staff, maintain records, and supervise pharmacy operations while upholding regulatory requirements. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia.
• Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or other pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Experience with Framework/ECM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain controlled substance records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper storage and security of medications.
• Participate in on‑call responsibilities as needed.
