Job summary

Southwest Health System in Cortez, CO is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate medication use across the continuum of care. You will verify and dispense parenteral and enteral therapies, monitor regimens, and serve as a clinical resource for providers and staff, while supporting anticoagulation, medication therapy management, and retail pharmacy operations.

The position requires graduation from ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and an active Colorado license; health-system

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
• Active Colorado pharmacist license.
• Health system experience preferred.
• Strong English communication; additional languages preferred.
• Excellent customer service, sound judgment, basic computer skills.
• Able to prioritize, work independently, and adapt to interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense parenteral and enteral therapies.
• Monitor and adjust drug regimens and serve as a clinical resource.
• Support anticoagulation clinic, medication therapy management, and retail pharmacy operations.
• Guide technicians and students; step in for essential manager duties as needed.
