Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Long-Term Care / Specialty Pharmacy practice. Open to full-time or part-time schedules with flexible shifts to accommodate a variety of candidate needs.

The role involves providing pharmaceutical care, supervising technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. A PharmD and active license are required, with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from ACPE-accredited program or international equivalent.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in state of practice.
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in medication dispensing, distribution, packaging, or long-term care.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and medication safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and serve as a clinical resource for patients, caregivers, prescribers, and healthcare teams regarding medication therapy and related concerns.
• Review, verify, compound (as applicable), and approve prescription orders to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations including medication distribution, packaging, labeling, inventory management, and quality assurance activities.
• Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Assess medication-related issues, provide clinical recommendations, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, billing records, and patient profiles in pharmacy software systems.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulatory standards, HIPAA requirements, and internal policies while reporting and addressing quality or safety concerns.
