Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in Whitley City, KY is seeking a Pharmacist to fill a pivotal role in our community pharmacy. You will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and maintain inventory with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will collaborate with the PIC to set schedules and ensure smooth daily operations. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. Weekday and weekend hours are listed, and you will engage with customers and vendors to uphold high service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics
• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors

• Weekdays - Open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Weekends - Open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 - 5 on Sundays

Required Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Preferred Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Pay Details:

• Hourly Rate: $65.00 an hour - $69.00 an hour based on experience
