Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ seeks a full-time Pharmacist to join our inpatient hospital team. Schedule covers weekday and weekend shifts with multiple alternate shifts.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Pharmacist is required.
• One+ year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution, central operations, and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and educate patients on medications to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Schedule: Full-Time, (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Alternate shifts 7am-3pm/9am-5pm/12pm-8pm/2pm-10pm

Compensation: $57.00 - $78.00 hourly

(Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

As The Pharmacist, You Will Be Responsible For

• Having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture.
• Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.

Minimum Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Pharmacist required
