Job summary

Voy is seeking a driven junior or senior level pharmacist to join our team in Wallingford. This role offers the chance to impact patient care in a fast-paced environment while aligning with company growth and strategy.

Qualifications

• Registered with the pharmacy regulator (GPhC).
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise in pharmacy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team-centred approach.
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
• Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with practice standards.
• Help develop, implement and maintain pharmacy procedures and processes.
• Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist and Head of Pharmacy to run the Pharmacy.
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager in their absence.
• Check dispensed prescriptions and manage orders with couriers.
• Manage near misses and create action plans.
• Work with Risk and Safety to resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with Service and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Proactively solve problems and support service development and patient experience.
• Train and develop the Pharmacy workforce with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Coordinate with the compounding team to supply medicines.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage inventory.

We are looking to hire a driven and ambitious junior or senior level pharmacist to join our team in Verda Park, Wallingford.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment and manage pharmacy objectives in line with company growth and strategy. If you like problem-solving and implementing transformative solutions, this role is for you! You will join a growing team and have a meaningful impact on our patients and customers, reporting in to the sites Superintendent Pharmacist.

• Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operational guidelines
• Maintaining compliance with our practice standards
• Helping the Superintendent Pharmacist to develop, implement and maintain Pharmacy procedures and processes.
• Working with the Head of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Manager to help run the Pharmacy
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager in their absence
• Checking dispensed prescriptions and sending out orders via our couriers
• Managing the Pharmacy near misses and creating action plans
• Working with the Risk and Safety team to root cause and resolve incidents
